Taxonomic Keys on Asian Benthic Macroinvertebrates
This was intended to share the latest update with regards to Asian Benthic Macroinvertebrate faunas including the establishment of taxonomic keys specifically for the Northeast Asian and for the Southeast Asian fauna. This committee will work by gathering the experts in certain macroinvertebrate groups and updating the existing keys established by different researchers in Asia. Establishing an updated key would cater either the experts or even the non-experts to easily identify the macroinvertebrate faunas in a certain biogeographical area which will be helpful in the biomonitoring programs of freshwater ecosystmes.
